A FREE 6-week Grief Support Group every Wednesday, starting Oct. 24 for anyone who has experienced the death of a special person. We will provide you with a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental place to:

a) talk about your loss experience;
b) share memories of your special person who died; and
c) discuss grief related concerns

Bell of Peace Ceremony - to mark a moment 100 years ago when church bells across the land rang out to let Canadians know that an armistice had been signed and the first world war was over.

3 pm - Opeongo Readers Theatre will perform "Remember Me" based on letters from local soldiers who fought in WWII.

4:40 pm - Sunset ceremony followed by the ringing of the bells. As the sun goes down, churches will ring a bell 100 times to honour WWI veterans.
