Introduction to Acting Drama Workshops

In this 4 day workshop, participants will learn some basic theater conventions, such as a brief history of the stage and stage directions, and will explore the elements of drama such as defining role/character with their body and voice, setting a time and place, exploring costumes, reading a script, and of course, improv games! (All activities will be based on the Ontario Curriculum for Drama.)

Stories that the Valley's most illustrious author, Joan Finnigan, collected from Valley old-timers as well as the tumultuous times she lived through.

Stone Fence Theatre fosters artistic, heritage and historic awareness by developing and producing theatre, music, dance, storytelling and comedy in, of, and about the Ottawa Valley.

Stone Fence specializes in original musical dinner theatre and presents shows around the Valley during the summer and fall.
