The Deep River Symphony Orchestra closes out its season with a performance of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 in C minor, which starts with likely the most recognizable 4 notes in music. Also on the program is von Weber’s Clarinet Concerto No 1 in F minor featuring guest soloist Peter Shackleton and Beethoven’s Coriolan Overture.

This evening will celebrate weddings of all kinds. Costumes are encouraged. Each table is decorated for a different wedding theme (e.g. Irish wedding, destination wedding, Vegas wedding, hunt camp wedding, you get the idea...and you'll get to see them all).

Cocktails begin at 5 pm. Dinner begins at 6 pm.

There will be activities, skits, a live auction - lots of fun leading up to the reception with music which begins at 9 pm.

A limited number of tickets are available for the reception only - cost is $10.

Eduard Klassen is a Paraguayan folk harpist, now living in Canada, who has presented over 4500 music concerts in 31 countries since making a personal commitment to Christ. A typical concert presentation by The Klassen's includes a variety of Christian harp music from South America, North America and Europe, interspersed with personal testimony and stories of God’s work in his life, from boyhood in the wilderness of Paraguay to the present. Christine Klassen was born and raised in Ontario, Canada, and has played the piano since 1976.

Emily Adam will be teaching traditional polyphonic music, village songs from Bulgaria, Croatia, Bosnia, Albania, Georgia and beyond.
Come to learn a variety of vocal techniques to tune your voice towards village music from afar, and with some time and willingness, perhaps we might even become a choir.
Come with a notebook and pencil, and desire to sing - no experience necessary.
Children are welcome with a caregiver (who also sings!)
